In a private equity deal, we all have a plan of what the acquisition’s gonna look like, but the devil is in the details. As a CFO, I am integrating the company into the private equity world. Oftentimes these are founder led businesses or family led businesses, and they’re used to doing things the way they’ve done it for years.

I am going to come in and explain to the founder or the family how a private equity works and the reason they’re asking all the questions they’re asking, and the growth that we’re going to gain from the plan that the private equity has in place.
