When I work with a company that’s never worked with private equity or another type of institutional investor, the first thing we do is create credibility within the financial systems. I have to make sure that we’re closing our financial statements properly and we’re getting it out quickly. Now we’ve created that credibility.
I’m not here to change what’s already working. We’re not reinventing the wheel. I’m here to offer insight, and once we’ve created that credibility, we can now get to the real value creation of the business.
